About The Club

Northern Illinois University gymnastics club is a CO-ED team and is a part of the NAIGC, the National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs. We practice three times a week and travel to different colleges around the midwest to compete. At the end of the season the team travels to NAIGC Nationals, which has recently been in New York, California, Ohio, and North Carolina.

Anyone with an interest in gymnastics is welcome to join the club, no experience is required. Some people come to work hard, some come to stay in shape and others come just for fun. There are no official coaches for the team, but many of the team members have coaching experience and are willing to help.

We practice at Energym Sports Campus in Sycamore on Tuesdays, and Thursdays 8:30-10:30pm and on Sundays 9:00-11:00pm. The cost is $100 per semester, plus meet fees and travel fees if you choose to compete. Please contact one of us for more information! New members are always welcome!
